On November 28, 2016, the JKF Jr. Forum had the pleasure of welcoming U.S Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy to the Forum for a discussion with Amitabh Chandra, the Malcolm Wiener Professor of Social Policy and Director of Health Policy Research at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. During this event, Dr. Murthy discussed the growing opioid addiction epidemic in America, the need for adequate healthcare coverage for those dealing with substance abuse, and the future of healthcare laws under the new administration.
